That was a little confusing. This book was about food tampering. The killer wants revenge and is using his product to kill people to hopefully put him out of business. I did not like the love interest of one of the main characters he seemed so one sided and very dull and unlikely match for this character. Like matching a tiger with an ant.

Jun 28, Edie rated it liked it. I like Ridley's style of writing a lot and I'm currently reading the Boldt books in order. After reading two of them I'm exhausted! Boldt not getting enough sleep and working all the time and bleeding out his Add to that my love of reading while I'm eating and His best by far, so far is The Angel Maker and it's so graphic and gory it's certainly not for everyone.

Daffy is involved with Owen Adler, CEO of Adler Foods, who is receiving faxes threatening killings on a large scale if Adler doesn't dissolve the company and commit suicide. I have come to enjoy the Boldt series because they are so human. Product tampering and extortion are the primary subject of this thriller and pearson's extensive research gives the reader insight in the development of a case and it's final outcome. A great read from a great author. Fair Lou Boldt mystery.
No Witnesses Achievement in Halo 5: Guardians
This one starts really slowly but gradually builds momentum. The first half of book is only 2 stars, the second half gets 4 stars. For some apparent reason, the Phantom is already gone and leaving by the time I get there, even if I skip the enemies or take my time.
